Recurrent choking

Recurrent choking episodes are common and often related to conditions which give you excessive sensitivity in your throat. There are other conditions caused by nerve related problems which may cause choking. We can check these easily with endoscopic examination of your throat performed in the clinic. Occasionally further investigations such as an contrast swallow test will be required to give more information and you may need some input from the speech and swallowing therapists.
