Feeling a lump in the throat (Globus)

It is common for people to feel like there is a lump or blockage in the throat. Usually there is no physical blockage but the nerves that supply your throat can be triggered to give that sensation. We will check your throat using an endoscope passed through your nose to make sure there is no obstruction there and no other reason for your symptoms that might need further investigation or treatment. Often your symptoms resolve and this can be helped by getting yourself checked to make sure there is nothing more worrying occurring.
