Saliva gland cancer is a type of head and neck cancer and will require diagnosis and discussion in a multidisciplinary team meeting to determine the best form of treatment. Treatment usually involves surgery and may involve other treatments such as radiotherapy. All salivary lumps must be assessed urgently to determine whether they are cancerous and need urgent treatment.
